a. Points will be accumulated for members in each of the following breeds for both market barrows and breeding gilts for the 2008 ICPA show season: Berkshire, Chester White, Duroc, Hampshire, Landrace, Poland China, Spotted, Yorkshire, and Crossbred. 

b. Only the points from the top two pigs that an individual exhibits at each show in each sex (maximum 2 barrows and 2 gilts) will count toward an individual’s total points.  Only one animal per breed/sex can accumulate points for the member.  Example:  an exhibitor can not receive points for two Duroc barrows.  To receive points for two barrows or gilts, the member must exhibit two separate breeds.

c. The ICPA will award five points towards showmanship for members that attend educational events and clinics that may or may not be held at every sanctioned show.  Such events will be advertised ahead of the show.

• 1st - 6 x # of head in class
  
• 2nd - 5 x # of head in class
  
• 3rd - 4 x # of head in class
  
• 4th - 3 x # of head in class
  
• 5th - 2 x # of head in class
• 6th and below - 5 points
  
• MAXIMUM 60 points per class

e. Breed Champion's points will be awarded as follows:

• Champion - 15 Points
• Reserve Champion - 10 points

f. Overall Champion's points will be awarded as follows:

• Grand Champion - 10 Points
• Reserve Grand Champin - 5 points

g. Showmanship points will be awarded for top places as follows:

• 1st - 10 points
• 2nd - 9 points
• 3rd - 8 points
• 4th - 7 points
• 5th - 6 points
• 6th and below - 5 points
